Referendum on Axon apartments still scheduled for November 2026

The referendum on the city’s rezoning of security technology maker Axon’s property to accommodate 1,895 apartments will remain in November 2026. The apartments are part of the company’s planned world headquarters campus.

Mayor Lisa Borowsky moved during the council’s Sept. 30 meeting to agendize a vote to move up the referendum from next November to March.

She said the city’s voters and Axon deserve a  speedier resolution to the situation.
