In response, Old Town Scottsdale property owners Janet Wilson and Dewey Schade created a political action committee to encourage support of the proposition. Wilson and Schade are also organizers of 2019 PAC, Committee for the Preservation of Old Town Scottsdale, that successfully campaigned against the South Bridge II development proposal.
The all-mail Tuesday, Nov. 2, special election asks Scottsdale voters to ratify the city’s general plan. Voters are encouraged to mail their ballot back today, Oct. 26.
