Reclaimed water system in Peoria continues to grow

Council approves $5.5M for new operations building

The city of Peoria is continuing to build on its water reclamation system with the construction of an improved operations building, on the Jomax Water Reclamation Facility site at Jomax Road and 126th Drive.

Council recently approved a contract amendment for $5.5 million to build the new structure.

The 10,090-square-foot single-story building will replace a temporary double-wide modular operations building built in 2004.
