Paperwork seeking to recall four of five Scottsdale Unified School District governing board members has been filed with the Office of Maricopa County School Superintendent, documents show.
The root of the issue appears to be the governing board members’ support for a face mask requirement at the district.
On Aug. 20, two Scottsdale residents filed paperwork to garner serial numbers for four recall petitions seeking to get President Jann-Michael Greenburg, Vice President Julie Cieniawski and members Patty Beckman and Dr. Libby Hart-Wells off the school board.
