Rebirth is requested for Smoke Tree Resort in Paradise Valley

Town will need to approve plans to move forward with revitalization

The Smoke Tree Resort on the eastern end of Paradise Valley is taking another step toward a complete renovation.

Scottsdale-based real estate investment firm Walton Global wants to increase the room count from 82 to 95, and transform the site into a modern boutique resort.

To do this, the town will have to approve their application for a minor special-use permit amendment.
