Real estate sales numbers were “dreadful” for 2023 across the Valley, and Scottsdale was no exception to the rule, according to Butch Leiber, president of Phoenix Realtors and managing broker of Realty Executives.
Though, Leiber is looking for a better year in 2024 with interest rates on mortgages dropping.
“Fewest sales in a year since 2008 (the year of the real estate crash that started the great recession),” Leiber said. “That’s Valleywide. If we look at Scottsdale, Scottsdale is dreadful. It’s the same thing, fewest sales since 2008.
