Reader worries ICE may set its sights on active-duty service members

I worry that ICE may go after active-duty service members next. The reason I worry is because of all the men and women presently serving who may be too brown to be considered “American enough.”

I fear they may end up deported to a country whose language and culture they don’t know or understand. It’s happening now to veterans and their families, and only promises to get worse. 

I am third-generation Norwegian and believe it’s a good thing Norwegians are not brown or we could end up deported to a country whose language and culture we don’t know or understand. 

Are there too few of us left who care enough to beat the drum hard about the pogrom happening right before our very eyes? 

We need another No Kings demonstration; this one telling Kristi Noem and her agents to stop.
