OPINION — Balloon releases for celebrations and memorials, however beautiful, are harmful to our environment, our wildlife and it’s still littering, which is illegal.
It also is dangerous to vehicle drivers and low-flying aircraft.
Bubbles, flower petal tossing, planting a tree or perhaps donating to a worthy cause are great alternatives.
