Reader: I haven’t heard Trump, GOP incite violence

Posted

Rebuttal to Proud Patriot’s letter, Response to Everett letter on political temperature:

The issue is the amount of political violence. The author completely blames Trump's role in political violence. I believe the comment about Trump creating a circle of blame and finger-pointing is irrelevant.

Blaming something or someone for being violent doesn’t constitute the justification of violence by anyone. Just because I blame someone for something doesn’t justify them for violence. If I say Jerry Nadler is fat or Hillary is ugly, that is not inciting violence.

We can debate whether Trump quickly blamed someone for something not yet proven, but I have probably heard about 90% of what he has said in public and I have never heard him nor JD Vance nor anyone incite violence against anyone.

I can however quote almost daily comments made by the left which create hate. Comments made by Democratic Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez about Charlie Kirk the day he was assassinated. Comments made by Jay Jones, Virginia’s Democratic candidate for attorney general, who texted a Republican lawmaker in 2022 fantasizing about putting two bullets in a Republican rival’s head and hoping his children would die.

I could quote daily comments made on MSNBC, CNN and by many members in Congress calling others Nazis fascists, claiming all MAGA are fascists.

I won’t waste time going into it any further. The bottom line is the majority of our legacy media, social media and many members of the government are obsessed about Trump and their only solution seems to be to create hate and chaos. I challenge anyone to fact-check what I say.
