A special meeting in Sun City West, at the request of the Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board, provided answers to specific questions regarding the community.
The meeting was called by board members Jim Sloan, Lisa Vines, Roberta Davidson, Sharon Hettick and Harry Stannebein. The request was for a closed meeting regarding personnel issues directed to Bill Schwind, general manager. However, the criteria for closed meeting were not met so the meeting was open to in-person guests with limited capacity and an audio-only YouTube recording was available. The meeting was conducted in the governing board conference room.
The directors had four question posed to Schwind surrounding the Hillcrest Dancers and Broadcast Club tax issues, as well as themed club events and master plan funding.
