The Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board Election Committee should be preparing for an upcoming March election.
But with only three candidates qualifying for four seats, an election is not necessary.
According to a press release from rec centers officials, three owner-members turned in petitions with enough signatures to qualify for the election. There are three, 3-year terms opening, and one 1-year term to be filled. The three candidates will be seated Saturday, July 1 for the 3-year terms. The governing board will appoint an individual to fill the 1-year slot.
