RCSC partners with ASU for Sun City survey

Work to begin immediately

Sun City residents’ input will be sought to try and determine the best future direction for the Recreation Centers of Sun City.

RCSC officials partnered with Arizona State University to survey current and prospective residents about what they would like to see in the community in terms of amenities. The RCSC board approved the partnership on a first reading during it last business meeting before the summer recess, then approved a motion to waive the second reading to allow the project to start immediately.

Bill Cook, RCSC general manager, acknowledged that the corporation’s Long Range Planning Committee did a lot of ground work on a community survey and some of that information will be incorporated into the ASU study.
