There are new ways to handle some of the Recreation Centers of Sun City financial matters.
In a flurry of motions presented by RCSC board Treasurer John Fast, the board approved posting the 2023 budget detail on the corporate website, adding a footnote to the unallocated carry forward line item, required management to provide one or more plans for use of the carry forward and allowing board officers to have a private communication with auditors for the 2021 audit without management representation present.
The first three motions were passed on the first read and will be heard again during the board’s next business meeting, 9 a.m. Thursday, March 30 in the auditorium at Sundial Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. The fourth motion had the second reading waived and is effective immediately.
