Recreation Centers of Sun City members finally got to conduct business in an annual meeting, but they went away angrier than when they arrived.
There has not been annual meeting business conducted in 12 years. While there have been annual members meetings, the business portion of the meeting was not conducted since Nov. 9, 2009 because there was never a quorum of 1,250 members in attendance in those years.
That changed Dec. 13 when 796 members were in attendance in the auditorium at Sundial Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., and there were 690 proxy votes collected. While there were five agenda items presented, none were voted on that day.
