Ray Eugene Vande Krol, 64Ray Eugene Vande Krol, 64, of Gold Canyon, passed away April 27, 2008 in Gold Canyon, Ariz. after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.He was born Jan. 25, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. At age 11, he entered into construction with his father. He was employed by Olsen Brothers Construction in Chandler for the past 21 years.An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and held several championship titles in archery and canoeing.He was preceded in death by his father, Roy, and sister, Glenda.He is survived by Ronnette, his wife of 43 years; his mother, Helen; three sons, Ron, Robert (Yvonne), Randy (Chrissy); eight grandchildren, Holland, Cheyenne, Trenton, Kaylyn, Myranda, Robynn, Tasha and Sierra; sister, Joyce Reese; three brothers, Don, Rod, Brian; and many other family members who will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor.
