Rate at which Scottsdale residents get COVID-19 vaccine drops off, numbers show

Since last Monday, only 303 Scottsdale residents have been counted as getting the COVID-19 vaccine, Arizona Department of Health Services numbers on May 24 show — a stark decrease from past weeks, when thousands of people were getting the vaccine per week.

In total, 145,600 Scottsdale residents have received some form of the vaccine.
On May 13, Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega announced face masks were no longer required in city buildings and facilities.
