After reading the Independent dated Nov. 8, 2023, I agree with Aaron Lane who wrote saying golf should be self-sufficient. He made many excellent points.
The front page stated the current assessment is $496 which is a lie when our bill was $525 this year. The article stated the need for keeping up with inflation. Our income isn’t increasing though. Give us a break. I’ve never swung a golf club in my life. I have no interest in this sport, yet feel punished by living here in Sun City, which only appears to care about those who play golf more than us residents who don’t.
Stop playing favorites. We’re not in school anymore.
