Ralph Hennessy, 89, residing in Fitchburg, WI, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2019. Born in Dubuque, IA, the only child of Ralph and Bernice Hennessy. When young, they moved to Moline, IL where he graduated from High School and met his wife, Jean (Adams).After 8 years in the Army Reserves, he spent most of his career at John Deere in Horicon, WI. Shortly after retirement in 1984, they moved to Sun City, AZ where they enjoyed their retirement years playing golf, exploring the country on their motorcycle, old cars, home renovations, and socializing with family and friends. Ralph enjoyed meeting new people and will be remembered for his humor and straightforwardness.He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean (Adams) Hennessy of Fitchburg, WI; and children Sharon (Rex Hieser) Hennessy of Fitchburg, WI; Ray (Mary) Hennessy of Whitewater, WI; and granddaughter Tessa (Lucas) Van Norman of Milwaukee, WI. A family memorial will be held in Sun City in February.
