A Rally’s restaurant with a drive-thru is to be constructed south of Southern Avenue and east of Power Road in Mesa.
The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recently voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to approve a site-plan review for the Rally’s on 0.81 acres. Board member Troy Peterson was absent.
The site is zoned limited commercial with a planned area development, where a restaurant with a drive-thru is permitted, Planner Kwasi Abebrese said at a study session before the board’s Nov. 16 meeting.
