Rain expected on Wednesday, Friday

Wear a hat and dust off those umbrellas — it’s expected to rain this week, Valley residents.

Weather experts say it could rain twice in a matter of a few days, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

There’s a slight chance — about 20% to 30% — it will rain Wednesday and a greater chance — about 70% to 80% — it will rain again just before the weekend — on Friday, said Katherine Berislavich, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
