APACHE JUNCTION - Rachel Hildreth Sparks Dalhover, affectionately known as Granny Dee or Mrs. Dal, was born in Kentontown, Ky., on Sept. 27, 1913, and passed away Feb. 8, 2011. Rachel was a 46 year resident of Apache Junction. She was a cook at Elvira's mexican Restaurant for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Helen Walters and Jaunita Sue Linville. She is survived by eight children, Bill (Gloria) Linville of Ohio, Michael (Marion) Linville of California, George D. Dalhover of Mesa, Cynthia (Allan) Dienes of Tucson, Sandra (Leroy) Hill of Arkansas, Barry (Geneva) Dalhover of Apache Junction, Kim (Victoria) Dalhover of Surprise, and Steve (Sarah) Dalhover of Apache Junction. She is also survived by over 150 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed life to the full; riding motorcycles and laughing, country Music and Jehovah God. She will be sorely missed by all who have been touched by her.
