Question of the Week: How can Valley schools keep students safe from sexual predators on campus?

Posted

Valley school districts are among those put on notice that they may lose funding if they fail to comply with federal laws on sexual predators in schools. During the past year: The investigation continues to grow at Peoria’s Centennial High after two teachers were suspected of having sex with a student, which has prompted resignations in the administration; Deer Valley removed a registered sex offender from a campus event; a man was arrested in a suspected sex-predator case in Buckeye; a parent who is a registered sex offender attended an event at a Glendale elementary school; a man snuck onto a Phoenix elementary school campus and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old; a Goodyear teacher faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. What do you think is the solution for protecting students from sexual predators?
