Quentin D. Bammer, 84Quentin D. "Ken" Bammer, 84, of Apache Junction, passed away April 18, 2007 in Mesa.Mr. Bammer was born April 2, 1923 in Clark, S.D.He served with the 514th Field Artillery Battalion during World War II and in several conflicts while in the European Theater of Operations.He was past master of his Masonic Lodge No. 7 in Virginia City, Nev.; a member of Kerch Shrine and Scottish Rite Bodies of Reno, Nev. and a member of VFW Post 9399 in Apache Junction.He is survived by his domestic partner and companion, Alice M. Brunson; sons, Dennis L. Bammer of S.D. and Quentin L. Bammer of Pleasanton, Calif.; brother, E.J. Bammer of Westlake Village, Calif.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, the Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children or a favorite charity.
