Queen Creek will hold its "state of the town" presentation on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. Because of the COVID-10 pandemic, the presentation will be virtual.
The address will look at Queen Creek’s accomplishments in 2020, such as completing the Meridian Road extension, starting the first Queen Creek Police Department and opening Fire Station 4 at Signal Butte Road, just north of Queen Creek Road. Fire Station 4 brings the total number of fire stations in Queen Creek to five.
Besides initiating the first police department, Queen Creek also saw the swearing in of the department’s first chief, Randy Brice.
