Queen Creek’s Downtown twinkles for the holidays

Town spent $71K for more holiday lights

From life-size candy canes to an Instagram-friendly set of cowboy boots, Queen Creek’s Downtown is twinkling this holiday season.

Ellsworth Road in the downtown core is lined with lighted trees, festive wreaths and opportunities for unique photos.

“We know our downtown is bustling with activity throughout the month of December as people are shopping for gifts, dining out with friends and enjoying our beautiful Arizona weather,” shared Queen Creek Mayor-elect Julia Wheatley in a press release. “As a town council, we wanted to really provide that sense of place in our downtown by enhancing our holiday décor. As Queen Creek continues to grow, we are embracing opportunities to maintain and enhance that community feel.”
