Queen Creek resident Kennadee Riggs recently was crowned Miss Rodeo America 2023 during the pageant in Las Vegas.
The 22-year-old represented Arizona as the 2022 Miss Rodeo Arizona. She becomes the fifth woman from the state to hold the national title.
“I really didn’t feel like I was going to win so I was completely shocked,” Riggs said in a press conference immediately after winning the crown. “Today when they called my name as Miss Rodeo America 2023 is when it hit me. It’s real baby, it’s real.”
