The Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic has been given the OK by the Queen Creek Town Council to expand its current building. The council unanimously approved the move at its Nov. 16 meeting as part of its public hearing consent agenda.
The clinic at 20201 E. Ocotillo Road will be adding 4,400 square feet to its current location. The expansion is requested to accommodate additional exam rooms. No additional kennels are proposed as part of the expansion. In 1996, the town approved authorizing a 25-year use permit allowing 20 kennels at the Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic. The clinic opened in 1997.
“Queen Creek is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation and while we have maximized each foot of our building, it’s time we need more space,” the clinic stated on its website. “This expansion will allow us to attract top veterinarians and support team members and give us much needed room to safely treat the pets of Queen Creek, Gilbert, San Tan Valley and the surrounding areas. We have prepared our construction team to attempt to minimize service interruption but will do our best to update clients with any service disruptions.”
