At its July 20 meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council voted to send recommendations of approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for two local restaurants.
The item was voted on a consent agenda. The applications were submitted by H. J. Lewkowitz on behalf of the Chipotle located at 170 W. Ocotillo Road, and Andrea Dahlman Lewkowitz on behalf of Torchy's Tacos located at 21386 S. Ellsworth Loop Road.
According to a staff report, the Chipotle liquor license application was posted at the location on June 13, and the required 20-day posting period expired on July 3. No comments or protests from the public have been received. The Queen Creek Police Department was provided with a copy of the application for interview/investigation, and there were no concerns reported.
