Rezoning for a proposed master-planned community including 656 residences in a variety of lots sizes, as well as a commercial area, has been approved by the Queen Creek Town Council.
The rezoning, requested by Pew & Lake PLC on behalf of Sossaman Holdings, is for approximately 300 gross acres on the south side of Ocotillo Road between Power and Sossaman roads extending east to Sossaman Road and south to the Sonoqui Wash. The planned community is bound by Ocotillo Road on the north, Sossaman Road along the east, the Rancho Jardines neighborhood and Ben Franklin Charter School along the south, and Power Road along the west, according to a staff report.
