The Queen Creek Police Department has released a critical incident briefing and video regarding an officer-involved shooting that occurred earlier this year.

On Feb. 10, QCPD responded to an agency assist request from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, which had responded to a reported hit and run involving a stolen vehicle. The driver then fled the scene in a separate vehicle and was believed to be headed toward Queen Creek, according to the briefing.
