Queen Creek offers more money to small businesses dealing with pandemic

Even small amounts made all the difference to some businesses

It was only $2,500, but the money was enough to get Blake Mastyk going on efforts to sanitize and make his business, The Bistro, pandemic safe during the lockdown last year.

“It was a nice add-on for sure,” he said. “You know, it got me going in the right direction to get all that sanitizing, low-touch stuff. Without the loan, that would probably be lower on the priority list after just closing for a couple months.”

Mr. Mastyk received money from the Town of Queen Creek’s Small Business Grant Program, part of its Queen Creek Together economic program for small businesses.
