A simple misunderstanding opened a whole new world for Queen Creek country music artist, and now children’s book author, Franklin Smith.

Around the time of the COVID pandemic, Smith took his grown children’s advice and started writing a kids’ book. It was initially a story about the adventures of two young sasquatches on Mount St. Helens — an obvious setting for the Washington state native.
