Queen Creek may provide financial assistance to the town of San Tan Valley

Members of the inaugural San Tan Valley Town Council were sworn in on Sept. 25. At its Wednesday meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council will be voting on an agreement to offer temporary financial assistance to San Tan Valley.

Queen Creek could offer temporary financial assistance to the town of San Tan Valley as Arizona’s newest municipality gets up and running.

The Queen Creek Town Council will vote Wednesday on whether to approve an intergovernmental agreement that establishes temporary financial assistance to San Tan Valley to the tune of up to $250,000 a month until the town receives its state-shared revenue.
