The Queen Creek Town Council is not happy with some Homeowners Associations regarding overgrown and even hazardous vegetation on medians.
While the town owns the medians, in some developments Queen Creek entered into a deal with HOAs in which they agreed to conduct maintenance on them.
The landscaping became so unruly that the Queen Creek Public Works Department ended up doing the work to quell complaints. The town then sent invoices to the HOAs, but they have yet to pay up, leaving the town on the hook for $20,000.
