Queen Creek increases temporary monthly loan amounts to new town

The temporary monthly loans from Queen Creek will pay for town of San Tan Valley salaries such as town manager until it has authority to start spending state-shared revenues. On Dec. 3, the San Tan Valley Town Council hired Brent Billingsley, center, as its first town manager.

Queen Creek is increasing the amount of the temporary monthly loans it provides to the new town of San Tan Valley as it gets its government up and running.

On Wednesday, the Queen Creek Town Council unanimously voted to amend the intergovernmental agreement it has with the new town.
