The Queen Creek Heat All-Stars team recently took home the Arizona State Championship for the 9-10-11 girls’ softball league.
The team went undefeated in regional and state tournament play. In the state tournament, the team went 5-0, defeating a team from Gilbert twice, Flagstaff and Cactus Foothills twice. The team won the championship 4-1 over Cactus Foothills.
Meanwhile, the Arizona Soccer Club for girls 13 and under, which boasts seven players from Queen Creek, is preparing to play in the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships starting July 18 in Orlando, Florida.
The Arizona Soccer Club went on to win the Arizona State Cup Championship in April. That win earned the team a spot at the 2022 U.S. Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships in Boise, Idaho.
Arizona Soccer Club went 6-0, beating teams from Washington, Utah, Hawaii, Colorado, Alaska and Nevada.
