Queen Creek council approves $84M interim infrastructure funding near LGES plant

Projects are part of deal with South Korean electric battery manufacturer

The Queen Creek Town Council unanimously voted on Wednesday to approve interim financing sources for $84 million in town infrastructure construction costs associated with the LG Energy Solution electric battery plant.

The town will be reimbursed for the cost of the infrastructure through state and town construction sales taxes paid by LGES as it builds its facility.
