The Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre could be getting a liquor license soon.
At its Wednesday meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council approved forwarding a recommendation of approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for HPEC, 20464 E. Riggs Road.
The license application was submitted to the town clerk by HPEC General Manager David R. Solum. The application is for a series 005 government liquor license that will allow HPEC to sell and serve all types of alcoholic drinks solely for consumption at the center.
