Q&A: Tempe poet ventures into music with latest project

Founder of AZ Hugs for the Houseless and Tempe resident Austin Davis shares updates on his latest work in the community along with his newest project with singer Juno, pairing his passion for poetry with a newfound appreciation for music.

Aside from his own literary pursuits, the local artist also leads a monthly poetry workshop at Tempe Public Library that invites writers of all ages to dive into and explore their poetic sensibilities.

As founder of AZ Hugs, Davis is also involved in the community, connecting houseless people with a variety of essential services, like finding them emergency housing and placing people in safe environments.
