Candidates Joseph Chaplik, R-Scottsdale, and Alexander Kolodin, R-Scottsdale, are running unopposed by a Democratic competitor for the two seats on the Arizona House of Representatives for District 3 in the Nov. 8 general election.
Both Chaplik and Kolodin advanced from the primary elections, where five candidates were vying to be nominated by the Republican party. Chaplik received 39% of the votes whereas Kolodin received almost 22% in the primaries.
Because there were no Democrats running for District 3 House seats, Kolodin, who received the second most votes from the Republican party, is also set to appear on the ballot for the November election.
