For students with the dream of having a career in the digital media arts, the big city has long been the place to get a degree – metropolitan hubs like New York City, Chicago or Los Angeles.
But when Indiana-based Huntington University expanded a media arts college to Arizona in 2016, the city of Peoria became a valid option for those in the desert serious about film production, broadcast media and graphic design.
This is particularly true for Peoria residents, as about 40% of the school’s undergraduate students are residents of the city, which has held throughout the existence of HUAZ.
