Luxury master-planned resort community adds general contractor to its team docket

PWI Construction, Inc. has announced it has joined The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley at The Palmeraie as general contractor for the luxury resort’s interior build-out by the project’s owner, Five Star Development.

As the first new Ritz-Carlton to be built in North America in over a decade and the centerpiece of the $2 billion, 122-acre luxury master-planned development of The Palmeraie, The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley is positioned to become a flagship property for The Ritz-Carlton brand.

The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley will feature 215 hotel rooms with private entrances, detached casitas, and oversized suites spread across 20 verdant acres.

Over the past 35 years, PWI has partnered with acclaimed brands in hospitality to build world-renowned luxury spaces. The highly anticipated resort promises to be one of the finest properties on the West Coast. We are proud to be part of the team that brings it to market,” said PWI Construction Executive Vice President Marc Ferguson in a prepared statement.

Construction of the hotel portion of the mega-development is being managed by PWI Construction’s independently operated affiliate, PWISLC, LLC.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley team is comprised of leaders in their respective industries. It’s a privilege to join the world-class team to bring this resort community to Arizona. The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley at The Palmeraie is set to transform the Arizona luxury sector,” said PWI Construction Director of Client Experience Aaron Jewell, in a prepared statement.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Paradise Valley surrounds the resort offering two enclaves of multi-million-dollar estate homes and serviced residences including The Villas, 81 condominium-style villas priced from $1.6 million, and the estate homes, 32 single-family estate homes with prices starting at $6 million.

PWI Residential, an independent subsidiary of PWI Construction, is serving as the general contractor for The Villas at The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley Residences.

Other notable Arizona-based projects completed by PWI Construction include Andaz Scottdale Resort & Bungalows; Fairmont Scottsdale Princess; Graduate Tucson; JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge; The Camby; The Phoenician; and The Westin Kierland.
