Paradise Valley Police Department’s recruiting services with Epic Productions of Phoenix launched last week.
The recruitment website, joinparadisevalleypd.com, and social media platforms are now live, according to Kevin Albert, background investigator and recruiter for PVPD. They have not hired officers through Epic yet, but Albert’s already received some applications and about 40 email inquiries, a handful of which he’s invited to the department’s next testing event.
Town Council approved the contract with Epic in September 2023. Before launching, the police recruiting agency researched the town, learned the department’s values and culture, conducted interviews and went on ride-alongs with the department.
