Puzzle complete in Sun City West

Residents beat the heat inside

The patience and attention to build a giant puzzle is impressive and summer after summer, Sun City West residents gather in the R.H. Johnson Library to complete one.

The final piece was put in place 27 days after the first two pieces were connected. This year’s puzzle included 54,000 pieces and was 28 feet long. In total, 80 residents took part in building the puzzle and completed 1,466 total hours.

The library will keep the puzzle on display until Friday, Sept. 8.
