Many Valley residents remember exact moments from spring 2020 when a major activity or event schedule changed dramatically because of COVID-19.
In Chandler, the 32nd Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival was canceled just hours before the gates opened. Attempts to reschedule it for late October 2020 were scrapped in August when it became apparent the pandemic was still infecting and killing many Arizonans.
In 2021, plans to hold the festival were scrapped for the same reasons. Finally, in March 2022, Steve Levine Entertainment was able to produce and hold the 32nd Ostrich Festival for the Chamber over two weekends with some top entertainment.
