A large pump was set up on Cameo Drive next to Viewpoint Lake to take water from there to the Lakes West Golf Course, 10433 W. Talisman Road, Sun City.
Pacific Aquadscapes, the contractor for the lake liner replacement, encountered some complications to pumping and storing water as the lake drains in preparation for work in the lake bottom. Recreation Centers of Sun City officials did not elaborate on the details of the complications, nor whether they would affect the drainage schedule.
Pacific Aquadscapes officials hoped the lake would be fully drained by late-September or early-October at the latest.
