Public comment is open for next year’s Annual Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership funds in Gilbert.
Community members have until Friday, March 31, to share feedback on the draft plan.
Gilbert receives CDBG and HOME funds annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development utilizes these funds to provide various housing, infrastructure and public facility improvements.
For the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Annual Action Plan, Gilbert has proposed using CDBG and HOME funds for three key focus areas:

Next steps
Once the public comment period ends, staff will consider feedback and make edits to the Annual Action Plan draft as needed.
Before the plan is adopted, a final version will be presented to the Gilbert Town Council and voted on for approval.
