Public can add input to Glendale bike lane plan along 67th Avenue

Program looks to add lanes to 5-mile stretch

A longtime effort to add bicycle lanes to one of Glendale’s busiest arteries is turning its focus to getting input from residents.

The project aims to create bike lanes on a straight five-mile, north-south stretch along both sides of 67th Avenue between Missouri Avenue and Cholla Street.

A public meeting for the 67th Avenue Bike Lanes Project will take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 at Copperwood Elementary School, 11232 N. 65th Ave. Residents can discuss the project with representatives from the city and the design consultant.
