Provateare: Winter visitors should keep yards clean in Sun City

I notice some winter visitors neglect their yards when they are away for the season.

I’m not saying all, just those few. As for the ones that stay in Sun City, we have to see the weeds and neglect develop. I believe if you can afford two places to stay then take care of both.

COVID is not a problem now as stated before by a reader, “People are dying right now and you’re worried about weeds?” So have consideration to the ones that stay for the whole year. Having rock landscape takes work also, by maintaining weeds that come after the monsoon. I pay to have our yard treated, so please show kindness to your neighbor.

I’m sure someone will complain about this letter, and sure enough they are the ones that forget about their yard for six months. They will probably say, “You’re worried about weeds, people can’t afford gas.”
