Protestors march on Congressman Schweikert’s Scottsdale office

Line of sign wavers stretches about a quarter mile

“This is what democracy looks like,” was a chant heard from several hundred protestors lining a Scottsdale thoroughfare to protest U.S. Representative David Schweikert, Arizona 1st Congressional District.

Schweikert’s local office is tucked away on the second floor of a financial building at Northsight Boulevard and Raintree Drive in Scottsdale. Probably out of hearing range of the honking horns inspired by the protestors lined up along Raintree Drive.

The unaffiliated group has made a Monday morning routine of converging on Schweikert’s office since mid-February, and the group has grown to the several hundred who turned out on March 31.
